Yoga & Dance
About the retreat
Yoga & Dance pairs a grounding morning practice with joyful evenings on the dance floor. After vinyasa and meditation to start the day, evenings are spent learning the basic steps of salsa — no partner or previous experience needed.
Salsa is woven into Tenerife’s story. For generations, Canarians emigrated to Cuba and Venezuela, and many returned home carrying Caribbean music and dance with them. That shared heritage lives on in the island’s plazas, its fiestas and the famous Santa Cruz Carnival, one of the largest in the world.
Highlights
- Daily morning vinyasa and meditation
- Evening salsa classes covering the basic steps
